U.S. Marines assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment, conduct a Battle Sight Zero, part of Lava Viper 17.1, at Range 8C aboard the Pohakuloa Training Area, on the big Island of Hawaii, Oct. 17, 2016. Lava Viper is an annual combined arms training exercise that integrates ground elements such as infantry and logistics, with indirect fire from artillery units as well as air support from the aviation element.
