U.S. Marines with the Provost Marshal’s Office are tased to demonstrate a daisy-chain take down during Taser Certification Training at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 31, 2016. Individual prongs from the X26 Taser were fired at the two Marines before simulating a fight where touching each other completed the electrical circuit causing neuromuscular incapacitation. Neuromuscular incapacitation causes the subject’s muscles contract and lock up, making the individual unable to move. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Aaron Henson)
