Marines place a detonation cord linear charge on a door for an urban assault breaching range during a deployment for training exercise at Fort Pickett, Va., Dec. 8, 2016. The purpose of the training was to prepare the Marines for real-world scenarios in assault breaching. The Marines are with Charlie Company, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion.
