Sgt. 1st Class Midsru Miyazaki conducts pre-flight checks on the MV-22 Osprey before a flight aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., April 7, 2017. Before every flight, it is the crew chief’s responsibility to check all safety and mechanical systems to ensure the safety of all the members on the flight. Miyazaki has been training to become the first Japanese MV-22 Osprey crew chief. VMMT-204 is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 26, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
