U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Clifford Moles, a motor vehicle operator with 2nd Transport Support Battalion, guides a 7-ton truck out of a cave during Strategic Mobility Exercise 17 near Stjordal, Norway, May 2, 2017. Marines readied the vehicles for a convoy to the exercise’s assembly area. The forward prepositioning of materiel from the Marine Corps’ Prepositioning Program in Norway reduces reaction time and eliminates the need to deploy equipment from locations in the continental United States.
