Marines prepare to conduct amphibious operations during a training exercise at Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 2, 2017. The training enabled the Marines to become more proficient at beach landings through a series of drills in which they simulated coming off ship, driving to the coast and clearing an objective. The Marines are with 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion.
