The meeting consisted of advisors from Task Force Southwest and sub-district police chiefs out of Lashkar Gah. They discussed the security of Lashkar Gah and what improvements should be made to ensure the safety of the local population. Task Force Southwest, comprised of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force, are training, advising and assisting the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
