A U.S. Marine with 1st Marine Logistics group participates in the water survival advanced course on Camp Pendleton, California, June 14, 2017. The purpose of the water survival course is to strengthen the individual Marine’s self-preservation and rescue skills in water. 1st MLG is home to multiple military occupations that work together to provide support to each element of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force through logistics beyond the capabilities of the supported units.
