A U.S. Marine advisor with Task Force Southwest, left, highlights important pieces of information with the 505th Zone National Police engineers about utilizing the EOD9 bomb suit during a mission at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, June 13, 2017. During the class, the advisor discussed the specifications of the suit, as well as how to properly clean and maintain it. Utilizing the bomb suit will help the engineers safely and efficiently remove improvised explosive device threats and help maintain security for the local populace. Task Force Southwest, comprised of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force, are training, advising and assisting the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and the 505th Zone National Police.
