U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Brian D. Raney, the station commander for Recruiting Substation Murfreesboro, stands with Raven Campbell outside of their limo for a father-daughter dance at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Jan. 20, 2017. Raven did not have a father to go with but dreamed of attending the dance with a Marine. Raney stepped in to make her dreams come true. Raney is a recruiter currently stationed with Recruiting Station Nashville, 6th Marine Corps District, Eastern Recruiting Region, Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
