Lance Cpl. Christopher Alcazar, a welder with General Support Maintenance Company, 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, welds a piece of scrap metal while practicing metalworking July 9, 2018 at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. GSM Co. is the largest Marine Corps metalworking shop in the Indo-Pacific region, providing III Marine Expeditionary Force with capabilities to manufacture a multitude of parts and components. Alcazar is a native of South El Monte, California.
