Doris Lambinicio, a participant of the Cultural Adaptation Program, gives origami paper cranes to Kikuko Shinjo, a survivor of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima during World War II, at the Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan, April 26, 2019. Lambinicio helped Shinjo by making 750 of the 1,000 paper cranes. Shinjo makes 1000 paper cranes every year as a wish for continued peace in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Triton Lai)
