Retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Terry Pede served from June 1974 to July 2005. Pede deployed multiple times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom between 2000 and 2004. Pede, a St. Vincent, Minnesota, native, worked on MCB Camp Pendleton for 14 years after retiring from the Marine Corps.
