The Best Defense Foundation returned 6 WWII Pearl Harbor and Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay survivors to Hawaii for the 78th Commemoration of Pearl Harbor and Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay which is now MCBH. The heroes returned were Jack Holder US NAVY - Naval Air Station, Kaneohe Bay; Tom Foreman US Navy - USS Cushing; Ira Schab US Navy - USS Dobbin; Stuart Hedley US Navy - USS West Virginia; Donald Long US Navy - Naval Air Station, Kaneohe Bay; and Chuck Kohler US Navy - USS Hornet.
