Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. David H. Berger speaks with Marines after a town hall while visiting Camp Shorab, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, Dec. 12, 2019. Gen. Berger spoke about his expectations for the force and thanked Marines for their continued success. He also met with Marine Corps leaders to discuss current and future partnerships across the region. This is Gen. Berger’s first visit to the CENTCOM area of operation as Commandant.
