Sgt. Logan J. Wiersteiner, an Assistant Convoy Commander with Company A, 2d Transportation Support Battalion, 2nd MLG, poses for a photo on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., December 7, 2020. “If I can motivate one Marine a day I have done my job,” said Wiersteiner, a Covington, Va., native. According to his leadership, Wiersteiner is the embodiment of the Marine Corps motto, “Semper Fidelis” always faithful. As the Assistant Convoy Commander for Company A, First Platoon. Sergeant Weirstiener has developed training plans, facilitating logistical support, and assisted in the tactical employment of more than 104 Marines and Sailors during the execution of Weapons and Tactics Instructors (WTI) course 1-21 in Yuma, Arizona, Sept. 26, 2020. Other accomplishments as Section Leader include the embarkation of gear, acquisition of weapons and equipment, and deployment of Company A to Yuma, Arizona. Sergeant Wiersteiner developed training, groomed subordinate leaders for billets of increased responsibility, and advised platoon and company staffs on the employment of company assets.
