U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Bryan Brown, a cannoneer with Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, pulls the lanyard of an M777A2 Howitzer during a direct fire artillery training event aboard Pohakuloa Training Area, Sept. 20, 2020. Marines with 1/12 conducted the training as part of Spartan Fury, a training exercise that aims to strengthen the artillery unit’s expeditionary readiness and tactical proficiency.
