Sergeant Christopher Ringo coordinates aircraft fuel requirements in support of Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) operations. Marines from Air Traffic Control Detachment A, Marine Air Control Squadron 24 provided air traffic control support to FARP operations April 6 - 10 aboard Camp Pendleton, California. The Marines supported four total FARP's, including both hot and static in day and night environments, providing a safe and expeditious flow of aircraft during 88 live operations. The evolution simulated Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations by conducting a fly-away static FARP via aerial insert to a secondary location. (Photo courtesy of MACS-24)
