U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Christopher Fennel, a mortarman with Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, carries an M224 60 mm mortar system to a range during a Tactical Small Unit Leaders Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 31, 2022. Marines with 3/1 participated in TSULC in order to give small unit leaders the confidence, knowledge and ability to better lead their Marines in combat situations.
