U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jonathan Sutchen, a network administrator with Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, fires his M16A4 service rifle during a table five and six range at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Aug 28, 2022. Sutchen, a native of Brooklyn, New York, graduated from Williamsburg High School of Architecture and Design in 2020 and enlisted out of Recruiting Substation Brooklyn in 2020. The purpose of the training was to improve the Marines’ ability to operate their rifles at close quarters and in low-visibility environments more effectively. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
