Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Haily Castillo, Culinary Specialist 1st Class Jon Hale, and Senior Chief Culinary Specialist Lemuel Manlogon cut a cake together in celebration of the Navy’s 247th birthday at the Far East Café onboard Naval Air Facility Atsugi Oct. 13, 2022. Traditionally the Navy’s birthday cake is to be cut by the most senior and the most junior Sailor at the same time, representing the passing of knowledge and experience from one generation to the next.
