Senior leaders from the Brazilian and United States Marine Corps pose for a photograph with Marines from their respective services following a training evolution on Ilha do Governador Brazilian Marine Corps base, Rio de Janeiro, during Exercise UNITAS LXIII, Sept. 7, 2022. For the last 63 year, UNITAS has developed and sustained relationships that improve the capacity of Marine Forces, South's reemerging and enduring maritime partners to achieve common objectives. Additionally, the military-to-military exchanges foster friendly, mutual cooperation and understanding among participating navies and marine corps.
