Marines, Sailors and civilians with Marine Forces Special Operations Command celebrate the U.S. Navy’s 247th Birthday at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 13, 2022. Senior Navy leaders talked to the Marines and Sailors about naval history and traditions and the importance of the Navy-Marine Corps team at MARSOC. “As we reflect on our shared history and heritage, let us remember the sacrifices of those who sailed before us to keep the seas free and open,” said Chief of Naval Operations, Adm.
