Members of the law enforcement community remembered their fallen comrades during a ceremony at Albany Municipal Auditorium, May 18. Representatives of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Marine Corps Police Department at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, pinned flowers on the wreaths and retired Marine Col. Dan Gillan played a bagpipe rendition of Amazing Grace. The ceremony also included a final radio call and joint proclamation by Albany Albany 911 Communications. Among those honored was Marine Cpl. Dustin Jerome Lee. Lee, a K-9 handler, was killed in Iraq on March 21, 2007. The kennel at MCLB Albany is named after him. (Photos by Jonathan Wright)
