U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. David "Ryne" Osbourne, a cyber operator, with Alpha Company, 6th Communications Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, leads a class on Security Onion with multiple partner nations cyber teams during Tradewinds 23 in Georgetown, Guyana, July 21, 2023. Tradewinds is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored exercise designed to strengthen partnerships and interoperability, promote human rights, as well as increase all participants training capacity and to mitigate, plan for and respond to crisis and security threats. Osbourne is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and currently works as a Cyber Systems Engineering Manager for Nothrop Grumman Corporation.
