U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Tristan Kissich sets security during Jungle Leaders Course at the Jungle Warfare Training Center, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 9, 2023. The course is designed to test physical and mental resilience of Marine Corps leaders in a harsh jungle environment. Kissich, a native of Hazel Green, Alabama is a rifleman with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines and is currently forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Battalion, 3d Marine Division.
