The course is designed to test physical and mental resilience of Marine Corps leaders in a harsh jungle environment. Kissich, a native of Hazel Green, Alabama is a rifleman with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines and is currently forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Battalion, 3d Marine Division.
