U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Alexander Devereux, a combat photographer, with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, fires an M18 during the Depot Competition in Arms Program on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 17, 2024. The Depot Competition in Arms Program enhances the marksmanship proficiency of Marines and sends the top three shooters to compete with the depot shooting team at the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition.
