United States Air Force Academy cadets pose for a photo in front of a C-17 Globemaster III on the flightline at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, July 8, 2024. During their two and a half weeks visit to Ramstein, USAFA cadets stopped by the 521 Air Mobility Operations Wing to learn about the wing’s mission and how it provides Rapid Global Mobility to the European, African, and Middle Eastern theaters and tour a C-17 Globemaster III. During the summer, cadets at the Air Force Academy get to participate in the Operations Air Force training program, where they visit more than 40 bases worldwide to get a glimpse into the operational Air Force.
