Marines with 1st Marine Division and members of the Cuerpo de Infanteria Marina Chile, climb Monte Tarn, Chile, July 30, 2024. U.S. and Chilean Marines conducted training to include cold weather lane training, mountaineering, and land navigation in order to hone fieldcraft, improve combined task force operations, and increase understanding of each other’s cold weather tactics, techniques, and procedures to support a secure, free, and prosperous western hemisphere.
