A MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft assigned to 1st Marine Division lands to evacuate a simulated casualty during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel course hosted by the I Marine Expeditionary Force, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 6, 2024. The purpose of the TRAP course is to ensure Marines have the knowledge and skills required to conduct effective recovery of aircraft and personnel in preparation for subsequent exercises and their upcoming operational deployments.
