Wounded, ill and injured Marines with the U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment look on as Sgt. Maj. John Ploskonka stands at attention in front of Col. During the ceremony Sgt. Maj. Ploskonka passed his duties as regimental sergeant major of the Wounded Warrior Regiment to Sgt. Maj. VanFonda. Ploskonka was selected to serve as the sergeant major of the Marine Corps Installations Command, Arlington, Va.
