A World War I era German Albatros biplane hangs from the ceiling at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in San Diego?s Balboa Park June 24. The museum is free for active duty service members and their families, and its many exhibits are a visual story of the history of flight and exploration of outer space by mankind.
