MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif. ? An employee with the MCAS Miramar Environmental Management Department discovers alkaline batteries inside one of the air station?s dumpsters during a recent search. These types of batteries are harmful to the environment when improperly disposed of and sent to landfills.
