Sergeant Major Wayne R. Bell reflects on the mission ahead during an appointment and relief ceremony held here Feb. 24. Sergeant Major Bell was appointed MCIWest Sergeant Major during the ceremony. As MCIWest Sergeant Major, Bell will be in a leadership role of a command that is comprised of seven Marine Corps bases and stations. Hundreds of Marines, Sailors and family members were present to witness former MCIWest Sgt. Maj. Juan F. Sandoval pass the sword to Bell.
