Hernandez was presented with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a Ka-Bar mounted plaque.::r::::n:: “Our staff noncommissioned officers gave us the tools and our noncommissioned officers set the bar high, and gave us the guidance to reach it,” said Hernandez.::r::::n::Lehnert presented the Marines with their awards during a safety stand down at the air station, May 8.::r::::n:: “When I see these young Marines distinguishing themselves like this, it puts me at ease about leaving the Corps in their hands when I retire,” said Sergeant.::r::::n::
