Jarvis Foster, with 1st Marine Logistics Group’s “Beasts” of Camp Pendleton, catches a football for the first touchdown of the “Best of the West” regional football championship at the 11 Area field, Dec. 11. The Best of the West has been won by a Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms team since 2006; however, Camp Pendleton’s 1st MLG team prevailed this year and won the game 14-12.
