Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton recently upgraded its armory with more than 300 M16A4 service rifles equipped with the rifle combat optic, a newer technology designed to improve accuracy. Combat marksmanship trainers assist Marines in making the switch from iron sights to this more efficient method.
