Point stand proudly after receiving first place plaques and an inscribed trophy for capturing this year's 2011 Rifle and Pistol Intramural tournament on Camp Pendleton, Dec. 15. The intramurals tournament consisted of individual rifle and pistol matches, as well as team matches. The weapons used during competitions were the M9 Service Pistol and series service rifles A2, A4, and M4. There was no entry fee required for the event and Pendleton Cup points were also awarded for the participating units. The Pendleton Cup Series provides active duty military personnel, regardless of skill or experience, an opportunity to take part in a variety of competitive unit sports while competing for monetary prizes to be given to their respective unit's funds.::r::::n::
