1st Sgt. Keith S. Butterfield, first sergeant, Headquarters and Support Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 22nd Naval Construction Regiment, displays one of the boards that has sponsored him, with his name emblazoned across the bottom of it. Butterfield enjoyed a professional freestyle skateboarding career in the 80?s where he gained notoriety for his signature move, the ?Butterflip.? Years later and a half world away, Butterfield is honing his craft once again to get back to where he was 24-years ago and seeks to inspire others, showing them that skateboarding isn?t just for delinquents. Butterfield is stationed at Camp Taqaddum, Iraq. (Photo by Cpl. Tyler B. Barstow)
