Originally a fruit stand in the early 1950s, Dole Plantation has come a long way. In 1989, after extensive renovations, it opened to the public as Hawaiis Pineapple Experience and holds the record as the worlds largest maze in the 2001 Guinness Book of World Records. Dole plantation is visited by one million tourists every year and sells more than 3,500 pineapples every week.
