Sgt. Chadee Phillip, National Museum of the Marine Corps, Restoration Branch motor transportation mechanic, paints panels from a SBD-Dauntless airplane July 31 in the NMMC Restoration Hangar in Larson’s Gymnasium. The airplane was underwater in Lake Michigan for 47 years after a training mishap in 1943.
