Sgt. Ryan Salinas, primary marksmanship instructor, Weapons Company, Weapons and Field Training Battalion, helps a recruit of Company F, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, with his kneeling position while snapping in Oct. 2 at Edson Range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Recruits snap in for hours, learning to be comfortable with each position before they head to the firing line the following week.
