Capt. Roger Hollenbeck, series commander, Company F, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, hands back a recruit's rifle to finish the drill movement "inspection arms" Oct. 22 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The series commander inspection is the second inspection recruits go through during recruit training. These inspections test a recruit's bearing and ability to carry out a small tasks, such as a rifle movement, to display their confidence.
