An AV-8B Harrier II attack jet from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 261 (Reinforced), the aviation combat element of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), sits near the front of the USS Nassau's flight deck, seemingly pointing the way ahead for the ship as it transits the Suez Canal, Nov. 26, 2005. The 22nd MEU (SOC) passage through the Suez Canal took it into the Central Command theater of operations as the landing force for Expeditionary Strike Group 8.
