Able Seaman Heidi Telford relaxes next to the makeshift shelter that was built so she could privately search Afghan females for drugs or weapons as they crossed the Nahr-e-Bughra Canal, Helmand province, June 12. Telford, a native of Plymouth, U.K., is a member of the Female Engagement Team and is currently assigned to the 1 Rifles Battle Group in the Nahr-e-Saraj district.
