Choosing the Marine Corps over trouble back home, Lance Cpl. Colin B. Eichenmuller, a motor transport operator assigned with Detachment 2, Team 5, 5th Civil Affairs Group, 2nd Marine Division, is today part of a civil affairs team. The team interacts with various segments of the local populace while conducting their own security. The Mechanicsville, Md., resident and fellow Marines from his reserve unit volunteered to serve last winter with 5th CAG in Iraq. ?None of us even knew what CAG was, all I knew that it was an opportunity to come over here. So, I was quick to volunteer,? said the 2002 graduate of Chopticon High School.
