An aviation boatswain’s mate guides an MV-22 Osprey from VMM-363, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, to land on the deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer, July 7, 2016. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit hosted flight deck landing qualifications for SPMAGTF-CR-CC V-22's, demonstrating interoperability between Navy and Marine Corps units . The Boxer is currently in support of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit operating in and around the Central Command area of responsibility. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is forward deployed in several host nations, with the ability to respond, rapidly, to a variety of contingencies.
