Roadway Safety Public Service Announcement
July 23, 2020 | 0:32
The safety of our community is the responsibility of all. As construction on the air station continues through the coming months, it's vital that we all take the time to be aware of our surroundings when driving or crossing roadways. A Street in front of the Fleet Readiness Center-East has become a popular way to access the flight line. Patrons need to be aware that the speed limit for A Street is only 20mph, 10mph in parking lots and that your urgency to arrive to your destination is not worth someone's life. Be aware of your surroundings, follow the daily street traffic pattern changes and remember the speed limit and cross walk stops are not an option - they are the law.
