HIMARS role in the exercise was to conduct a HIMARS rapid infiltration utilizing a Royal Australian Air Force C-17. Exercise Loobye is a tangible demonstration that the U.S. Marines and the Australian Defence Force are postured to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region in order to maintain regional stability.
