34th Annual Run for the Wall

The 34th Annual Run for the Wall Midway Route's first stop at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California, May 14, 2024. Over 200 motorcyclists participate in a parade on historic Route 66, a portion of which goes through MCLB Barstow, after an awards presentation and photo opportunity in front of the eagle, globe and anchor statue. Run for the Wall is an annual motorcycle ride from California to District of Columbia, ending at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall), located in DC.

Colonel Gregory Pace, base commanding officer, Sgt. Maj. Miller Daceus, base sergeant major, Maj. Corral, S-3 Operations officer and Lt. Col. Arturo Manzanedo, base executive officer, were present to greet Eric Fort, Run for the Wall Midway Route coordinator, and other ambassadors of Run for the Wall, and present the awards, before the Run for the Wall group rode off-base.
